The Naples Museum of Military History, Naples, FL 

The Naples Museum of Military History, located in the heart of downtown Naples, Florida, is the only museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to military history. Founded in 1990 by retired US Air Force Colonel William E. Nesney, it houses a collection of over 30,000 artifacts spanning the Revolutionary War through the present day. The Museum houses a variety of exhibits, including artifacts from the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Included in the collection are uniform relics, medals, flags, weapons, photographs, and other memorabilia that tell the story of the brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces. Visit this link for more information.

The Museum also showcases the personal histories and stories of individual soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen who have served in the wars. It contains stories of bravery, heroism, and courage, as well as remembrances of the horrors of war. In addition, the Museum also has interactive exhibits and educational programs designed to help visitors learn more about the history and culture of the Armed Forces. The Museum also houses a library of thousands of books on military history. Its large reference room includes a comprehensive selection of volumes, periodicals, and newspapers to assist scholars and students in their research.
